other.

3. Emotion aim: Let the students get along well with friends.

(1).Ask the students kow the words and sentences.

(2). Enable the students can use the sentence to communicate other.

Teaching procedures

Step one:Warm up

1. Play the tape of the sing on page19,ask the class listen.

2. Show the pictures of four children,lead in the words: tall,short,fat,thin. Step two:Introduction

1. Take out a picture of Joe, in his face, ask the students to guess who is

he, then show the picture of Peter by the same way, lead in“fat” and“thin”, then show more pictures of fat or thin people, Ask the students say who is fat and who is thin.

2. Ask a tall student and a short student in front of the class, teach

“tall ”and“short”.

3. Play the tape of “Listen and say”, ask the class listen and read after it,

teach the sentences.

4. Ask the students practice in pairs, then ask some pairs to act the

passage.

5. Take out the picture of the teacher’s friend, use the sentences to

description.

6. Show more boys and girls pictures, ask the class use the sentences to

description.

Step three:Practise

1. Play the tape of“Listen and enjoy”, ask the class listen.

2. Ask the class sing the song together.

3. Show the picture of a tall boy and a short boy, the teacher make a

chant ,then ask the students to make the new chant.

Homework:

1. Copy the new words.

2. Copy the passage and translate.

3. Recite the passage.
