教学过程

Step1. Revision

Step1: Free-talk

T: Today we will continue to study Unit7 A letter to a penfriend. Do you know? I have a good penfriend—Mary? What about you?

Ss: Me too./ No, I have no penfriend.

T: Oh, really? If you have a penfriend, how do you communicate with them ?

S1: We can send a postcard.

S2: We can write a letter.

S3: We can send a fax.

S4: We can

Step2: Review and make a conclusion

1.T: Yes , we can communicate with our friends

in many ways. Look at the screen. There are so many pictures here, can you tell me :If we make a telephone call, we should know

Ss: telephone number

T: If we want to send a postcard, what do we need?

S1: We need know postcode and address.

T: If we want to send a fax , what should we do?

S2: We should know fax number.

Step3: Present new knowledge and learning.

T: If we want to write a letter, what should we need?

S: We need some writing paper, an envelope, some glue, stamps and so on.

Step3: Consolidation

T: But how do we write a letter? Here is a letter to Peter, it’s from LiuTao. Let’s look at together . Now please read the passage and then answer me some questions.

Ss: Read the passage by themselves.

T: How do we write a letter?

T: Yes , please look at the screen , here are a Chinese letter and an English letter. Can you find the differences between them right?

T: Yes, we should write the address of the send first, and the address range is from small to large. Then write the recipient’s address words, next , write the content, the final wish is good and the sender’s name.

T: OK , now next question: What does Liu Tao want to do?

S2: He want to write a letter to Peter.

T: What does Liu Tao study?

S3: He study Chinese, English, Maths, Science, Art, PE and some other subjects.

T: How is Liu Tao’s house?

S4: His house is new, and there is a hill ,a lake and many trees and flowers near his house.

T: Now please read the passage carefully, work in pairs, find out the important phrases and sentences.

Ss:

T: Who can tell me ? what important phrases do you find?

Ss:

T: OK. Now read the phrases after me please.

T: We know how to write a letter , but how do we write an envelope? S:

T: Good, let’s make a conclusion. In the upper left corner, we should write the name and address of the sender, and the address range is from small to large. In the upper right corner write the recipient’s name and address. Finally stamp.

T: A few days letter , Peter received LiuTao’s letter, so he wants to write to LiuTao. Can you guess : does he write a letter or write an e-mail?

Ss: Write an e-mail.

T: Yes, very good. Let’s look at the screen, look, we can write like this, we should write sender’s e-mail address here, and the recipient’s e-mail address written “to” the local, and then write the subject and the date. What does Peter want to write? Now please write by yourselves.
