暑假里，我看了一本《鬼妈妈》的课外书，书里面有个小女孩，她非常不开心，因为她的爸爸妈妈很忙，没有时间来陪她，而且她爸爸似乎每天都看上去没精神，她爸爸烧的饭是世界上最难吃的，那个小女孩一口也吃不下。她妈妈也对她不关心，一天她和妈妈去买衣服的时候，那个小女孩想买一双彩色的手套，因为她学校规定只能带黑色的手套，她就不能买了。但是在鬼妈妈创造的世界里，所有的东西都改变了，那个鬼妈妈可以看见那个小女孩在现实生活里想要的东西，满足她，让她留在这里，其实她是想要吃掉她，可是现在她还没有发现，因为她爸爸把花园整理好了，做成了她头像的样子，但她还不知道这全都是想讨好她。在一天晚上她终于知道了，这是一个诡计，那个鬼妈妈想吃掉她，这时她终于明白了……

After Watching Coraline & the Secret Door

When you were a child, did you ever feel frustrated by the way your parents treated you? Did you dream of a better life? Coraline does.

It has been especially tough for this little girl Coraline since her family’s move to a remote apartment whose owner doesn't want children staying there, her parents are busy all the time working on their gardening catalogue, her mother doesn’t buy her the beautiful gloves, her father cooks awful food, and her neighbors are a bunch of crazy guys, the environment around this house is dirty and muddy...... Everything in her life seems awful. So when she finds a secret door which leads to a parallel world, she doesn't hesitate to go through it. On the other side, everything is much like home, but subtly different. The woman who introduces herself as her Other Mother cooks wonderful food for her, her other father compose for her, and the neighbors are talented and gorgeous. What’s more, there's a magnificent garden to play in and a circus and theater to visit. Soon Coraline becomes crazy about this world. But only one thing makes her quite nervous-- people here don’t have the real eyes--they just use the buttons to act as their eyes. Then the other mother told Coraline, if she want to stay, she must replace her eyes for buttons, too. This, is definitely scary for Coraline. And here comes out a question -- if you are Coraline, which one will you choose? The eyes or the enjoyable life?

This is the plot in my favorite movie Coraline. And today, I want to introduce it to you all and I hope that you would watch it after listening my speech. Well, the reason why I love this movie is that this movie teaches us to think. The true life maybe boring and painful, but who can say his or her life is filled with happiness and joy? Life is a long and painful journey, but you are loved by the real people around you, and you could use your own hand to make it a more wonderful world together with your friends. As a contrast, the fake world maybe relaxing and interesting, everything is so wonderful, but that t is what a monster prepare for you. If you absorb yourself in the fake world too deeply, you will lost your eyes thus you will live in the dark forever and never see the true world again. In my opinion, the fake world is quite same like laziness. When you were lazy, life may be easy now, but actually you are killing yourself and you will be in danger. Be earnest and down-to-earth, the reality may be not so pleasant, but you are writing your own history and making your life more fulfilling if you work hard.

For me, Coraline is not just a movie. I can find myself in this little girl, and I have learned a lot from this movie. I wish you could watch this movie yourself and find more meaning.
